They require an extremely well-aerated, chunky, high moisture retentive, and slightly acidic soil mixture to thrive. Our carefully crafted Premium Alocasia Soil Mix is what every alocasia plant thirsts for—compact-resistant to provide ample room for a healthy root system, pH-balanced for optimal plant growth, plenty of organic matter, and high-moisture retaining components for better humidity levels. The added horticultural charcoal and orchid bark supply organic material for beneficial microbes, producing the perfect substrate for easy root penetration, while long-fibered sphagnum moss provides a moisture-retentive substrate, replicating their natural habitat.
